Well I am finally done with all of my finals and am off till January 15 which is very nice. That means you can bet I will be sleeping in till 1:00pm and spending a lot of time lounging around at home and java. I'm really enjoying MCC and think it was the right choice for me this year, the teachers are great, the people are nice, the freedom is amazing, and i'm really digging the classes.
Dad had his surgery yesterday on his shoulder and is looking really bad. It kind of scares me because I have never seen him this bad, he is in a lot of pain, is on very strong painkillers, doesn't move, talks very little and when he does its usually just blabber, and to top it all off he has the flu. The last time I saw him remotely like this was when he fell off 15 foot ladder on his birthday and had to be rushed to the hospital, but even then he didn't seem as bad as he is now.
On a lighter side I got a job being a PA for a NY production who is putting on the Super Bowl half time show. Moe, Raven, and I will probably be the bitch kids but hey they are paying us 150$ a day so that's fine by me. That should be an amazing opportunity and I can not thank Dave Shack enough for giving me this chance, I just hope I don't screw it up haha. Im thinking I did well on my final for Earth Space, and my final papers for 1102 and Film Appreciation so that is weight off my shoulders.
Work at Banana has been good but very slow, I usually work two hours and they tell me to go home which is nice but i'm always hating it when my paycheck comes. It has gotten really nice since DJ works there, it has become more enjoyable and I have become more outgoing. I remember when I first started working there and I all I did was fold clothes, I was really shy and didn't talk to any of my coworkers, but now i'm talkative as can be and am no longer shy, which is very nice.
Well thats all I feel like sharing tonight, so good night guys. Oh and I am trying to organize an out this today (Friday) to go to Sarasota and see "Milk" at Burns Court at 7:45pm and maybe walk around Main Street, so if you would like to come with just hit me up on the cell.
